The Salmon Cycling Classic Road Cycling Event
The Salmon Cycling Classic is hosting its second annual road biking event happening in Wilsonville, near Portland, Oregon. The rural road cycling Gran Fondo will have you pedaling through the countryside for 90K, 60K or a free 25K family-friendly ride. The day begins at Wilsonville’s Memorial Park where riders can bring their families to enjoy a summer day at the park along with a variety of activities, including the free 25K bike ride. The course covers a total elevation gain of over 5,000-feet and ends at Memorial Park. The first 250 bicycle riders to cruise across the finish line will receive a specially designed salmon medallion.
A Delicious Way to End a Ride
A cedar plank salmon dinner will be available to all participants and spectators at the finish line. The salmon dinner is not included with the free ride, but can be purchased separately at registration.
Ride for a Cause
The Salmon Cycling Classic was created to provide support for the upcoming bicycle-pedestrian bridge over the Willamette River in Wilsonville and raise money for other local charities. This year’s charity is Choice Adoptions.
