1. Sponsor
The Explore Wilsonville “Invite. Explore. Repeat.” Staycation Giveaway (“Promotion”) is sponsored by The City of Wilsonville, OR dba Explore Wilsonville (“Sponsor”), located at 29799 Town Center Loop E, Wilsonville, OR 97070.
2. Eligibility
The Promotion is open to legal residents of the United States who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, participating partners and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling) or members of the same household are not eligible to enter or win.
Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Promotion Period
The Promotion begins on April 7 at 10 a.m. PST and ends on June 30 at 11:59 p.m. PST (“Promotion Period”). Entries submitted outside of the Promotion Period will not be eligible.
4. How to Enter
Participants may enter by sending a free digital postcard through the official campaign platform, inviting a friend or family member to visit Wilsonville.
- Each digital postcard sent = one (1) entry.
- No purchase or payment is required to participate.
- Entries must be submitted by the participant and must include valid contact information.
5. Entry Limits
Participants may submit multiple entries; however, each entry must be a unique digital postcard send. Automated, bulk, or third-party entries are prohibited and may be disqualified.
6. Prize
One (1) winner will receive a Wilsonville Staycation Package, which may include:
- One (1) one-night stay at the Holiday Inn I-5 South Portland (Wilsonville)
- Gift cards and/or experiences from local Wilsonville businesses (restaurants, wineries, attractions, or services), including but not limited to, Lux Sucre, Bullwinkle’s and the Parkway Grille.
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $600
Prize details are subject to availability. No substitution or cash equivalent except at Sponsor’s discretion. All federal, state, and/or local income or other taxes, of any, are the winner’s sole responsibility.
7. Winner Selection and Odds
One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
- Drawing will occur on or about July 1, 2026.
- Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
8. Winner Notification
The winner will be notified via email and/or phone within 5 business days of the drawing. The winner must respond within 10 days of notification to claim the prize.
If the selected winner does not respond in time, is ineligible, or declines the prize, an alternate winner may be selected.
9. Prize Conditions
- Prize must be redeemed by December 31, 2026 if applicable.
- Winner is responsible for any expenses not specifically included in the prize.
- Sponsor is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes related to prize providers.
10. Publicity Release
By entering, participants agree that Sponsor may use their name, likeness, and submitted content for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
11. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the Promotion.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for technical issues that may interfere with participation.
12. Release and Limitation of Liability
By participating, each entrant releases and discharges the Sponsor, and any other party associated with the development or administration of this Promotion, their affiliated entities and each of their respective officers, directors, members, employees, independent contractors, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns (“Released Parties”) from any and all liability whatsoever in connection with this Promotion, including without limitation legal claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages, demands, or actions of any kind.
Released Parties are not responsible for stolen, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, lost, damaged, delayed, undelivered, or garbled entries. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to entrants’ or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Promotion or downloading materials from or use of the website.
Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Promotion or website or attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by cheating, deception or other unfair playing practices, or intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor’s representative or who are in violation of these promotion contest rules, as solely determined by the Sponsor, will be disqualified, and all associated entries will be void. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion may be in violation of criminal and/or civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages (including without limitation attorney fees and costs at trial and on appeal) from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution.
The Sponsor and the other promotion contest entities, as applicable, reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Promotion for any reason. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor may elect to identify the winner from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation.
Sponsor makes no warranties, representations, or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or in law, regarding this Promotion or the merchantability, quality, or fitness for any particular purpose regarding any prize or any component of any price.
13. Privacy
Information collected from participants is subject to the Sponsor’s privacy policy and will be used solely for the purposes of administering this Promotion and related communications.
14. Winner List
To request the name of the winner, email explorewilsonville@gmail.com with the subject line “Staycation Giveaway Winner Request” within 30 days of the drawing date.
15. Disclaimer
This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or any other social media platform.
16. Applicable Laws and Jurisdiction
This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these promotional contest rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Should there be any conflict between the laws of the State of Oregon and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of Oregon. Venue for any dispute regarding the Promotion or these promotion contest rules will be in Clackamas County Circuit Court.
