heARTs of Wilsonville: Many Cultures, One Heart is a new public art project featuring 10 vibrant, painted fiberglass hearts placed throughout the city. Each sculpture celebrates culture, community and creativity in its own unique way, designed by local artists. Find them all in a single day or take your time — each heart pairs perfectly with a bit of Wilsonville fun.

1. Heart of Belonging by Elle Knight — Sofia Park

Start your trip with this bold, welcoming design nestled in peaceful Sofia Park. Afterward, sip a rich Peanut Butter Mocha from Royal Scots Sips & Eats just down the road (it’s a warm hug in a cup).

2. Wilsonville: Globally Rooted by Zak Ostertag — Tivoli Park

Celebrate shared roots and interconnectedness with a stroll through Tivoli Park’s Story Walk. Then treat yourself to a flaky, just-out-of-the-oven pastry from Pearl Bakery — local and lovely.

3. Season of Love by Cathy Rowe — Tranquil Park

Take in the natural beauty of this heart’s shifting palette, then stretch your legs on a walk through the park. Refuel with a soft pretzel and a locally brewed pint at Vanguard Brewing.

4. Heart in Bloom by Charlie Correales — Engleman Park

Surrounded by vibrant color and joyful detail, this sculpture bursts with life. After admiring the view, wander the park’s open lawn or pack a picnic to enjoy under the trees. Engleman Park features a playground with a nature-based play theme, perfect for the littles in your life. Parking is limited.

5. Ubuntu by Triesta and Chris Zuber — Town Center Park

This heart celebrates unity and humanity with bold patterns and thoughtful detail. Pair it with a reflective visit to the Oregon Korean War Memorial and Interpretive Center and Town Center’s playful water feature — then unwind with a Moroccan Mint Tea from Dar Essalam.

6. Unity in Diversity by Abhinaya Sudharsanam — City Hall

Celebrate connection across cultures at this striking installation near City Hall. Stop by Elka Bee’s Coffee & Bakery for a hand-crafted latte and a sweet treat — the perfect pairing for a thoughtful pause.

7. Flores del Istmo de Tehuantepec by Angennette Escobar with Wilsonville High School Students — Police Building

Admire this colorful floral tribute to Oaxacan heritage. On weekdays, swing into the nearby Wilsonville Community Center to participate in local programs (walk-in registrations are welcome). Finish with flavorful fare at Santa Fe Mexican Restaurant and Cantina — you’ve earned it.

8. For the Dreamers by Addie Boswell — Wilsonville Library

This whimsical, layered design inspires wonder, just like the books inside its host locale. Cozy up with a good read, then pop over to Parkway Grille for a nourishing bite and some daydreaming of your own.

9. Wilsonville & Kitakata: Sister Cities by Eileen Begley — Memorial Park (near the tennis courts)

10. Pacific Northwest Folklorico by Lonnie Garcia — Memorial Park (near the Nature Play area)

Vibrant, rhythmic and full of movement, this heart honors Mexican dance traditions and regional beauty. Walk the riverside trail, play disc golf and end your outing with a fresh meal at Norton’s Family Café, a hidden gem for hearty, feel-good eats.

Trip Tips

Accessibility Information: All 10 hearts can be spotted from the road and are next to flat, paved pathways.

Want to explore on two wheels? Check out this thoughtfully designed bike route available on Ride with GPS. This 12-mile, low-traffic loop was curated by Carolyn Jen, a Portland-based cycling coach and educator, to be scenic, safe and accessible. It guides riders past all 10 heart sculptures and local gems like Graham Oaks Nature Park and Arrowhead Creek Park.
