Rodeos are a window into the soul of America’s rich ranching past, a showcase of grit and determination. It’s electrifying entertainment that rivals any modern sporting event.

Since 1923, rodeo’s top stars have shown their stuff at the Molalla Buckeroo. A PRCA professional rodeo, competitions include bareback riding, barrel racing, bull riding, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, team roping and tie down. When the sun slips past the horizon, enjoy an impressive fireworks display with music and dancing lasting long into the night.

A short eight-mile drive south of Wilsonville you’ll find the Canby Rodeo, an integral (and beloved) part of the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. Held every August since 1907, the Canby Rodeo is a PRCA-sanctioned event and attracts top cowboys and cowgirls from the around the world.

Every July 4th (also known as Cowboy Christmas), the St. Paul Rodeo tests the skill, speed and guts of the cowboy and cowgirl, ushering in a glimpse of the Old West to the Willamette Valley.  Festivities include a carnival, a BBQ cook-off, a western art show and Fourth of July parade. One of an elite group of eight rodeos, the St. Paul Rodeo continues to capture the legacy of America’s ranching heritage.
