Start your day in Farmlandia

The Farmlandia Farm Loop offers a fun fall day trip for all. Choose from 18 local farm stands, pick your own crops, sip local wines and sample farm-to-table cuisine. Wear your sturdiest rain boots to splash in puddles, pick pumpkins and explore rows of crops. Learn more about Wilsonville’s agricultural community while you enjoy a taste of what’s fresh. Try a cooking class at The Kitchen at Middleground Farms, tour the orchards of French Prairie Gardens and pick up fresh local ingredients at Our Table Cooperative.

Stop for lunch at McMenamins for local brews and cajun tots

Plan for a hearty lunch at McMenamins after a morning of exploring Wilsonville’s beautiful countryside. Grab a drink brewed on site to counter a warm plate of fall comfort food. For a cool autumn day, we recommend the Brewmaster’s Sausage Plate with an Edgefield Hard Cider.

Celebrate harvest all afternoon with a fun fall festival

Spend a fall afternoon in Wilsonville finding the perfect pumpkin, shopping local produce or sampling fresh apple cider. All season long, farms throughout the area come alive with autumnal activities for all to enjoy. Check out our events calendar to see what’s happening when you’re in town.

Bauman’s Farm  has been in the pumpkin business since the late 1800s, so they know a thing or two about celebrating the harvest. Bauman’s Harvest Festival showcases a petting zoo, pumpkin pyramids, apple canons, slides, jump pads and apple cider samples. No fall festival would be complete without a cider swig.

In addition to a corn maze and hayrides, Lee Farms‘ Harvest Festival features a pumpkin patch and a petting zoo for close encounters with furry friends. There’s tricycle rides, jump pads and barrel wagons as well–not the most traditional for a fall festival, but plenty of fun nonetheless.

Frog Pond Farm is the place to capture a classic pumpkin patch photo, socialize with barnyard friends at the petting zoo, and usher in the night with a spooky farm walk. Experience haunts and thrills around every corner as you walk through half a mile of farm and forest trails.

Wind down the day with Willamette Valley wines

Nearby wineries offer a taste of what autumn is all about. If you’re spending a weekend in Wilsonville, there are plenty of places to taste Oregon’s finest vino.
